Work is over, finalising plans

After the final farewell call to my boss just before I left for the day it was sort of strange to know that 4 weeks holiday leave was ahead of me. I have never had that amount of holiday leave at one time ever before.
I know that I will fill this time up wisely with a trip of a lifetime. Now to pack, finalise plans and complete all the last minute bits and pieces. This included another trip to the doctor. Just a couple of weekends ago I had an accident that could have ended all the holiday plans altogether. A knee injury that wasn't perfect but would have to be good enough to travel so I collected prescriptions for pain medication, anti inflammatory pills and a note from my doctor to say that I am allowed to carry all the drugs I will have in my possession.

It is really starting to get exciting now and my next entry will be after our very first day of travelling.
This blog/diary will mainly be us to capture our memories, but of course if you enjoy reading along, you are most welcome to share our memories each day here too.
